Joel Hammond is an award-winning copy editor and page designer currently employed by Crain Communications Inc., parent company of weekly business newspaper Crain's Cleveland Business.

Like Erik, Andy and Nick, Joel is a Bowling Green State University graduate, with a degree in print journalism. He met his partners in crime while working at The BG News, the wildly successful student newspaper at BG.

After college, Joel moved to the south for two years, where he spent time at the Anderson Independent-Mail and Greenville News before returning to Ohio in February 2006.

Joel's allegiances lie with the Green Bay Packers (RIP 2007), Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Cavaliers, but not necessarily in that order.

He lives with his 3.5-year-old beagle/hound mix, Smiley.
